REVIEW: The Drawer Boy @ The HAT

Once again, I have been blown away by local theatre. From January 14th to 19th, you can also be blown away by "The Drawer Boy" at the Highland Arts Theatre.
I got the chance to see it last night via the new "Play by Play Discussion Group" and would highly recommend checking it out.
Even before the lights went down I was fascinated by the set design- they really just somehow replicated an old country house on the stage. The best part? The sink works and they have turf grass to remind you which part is the outside part. It's great. Mad props to the set designer.
This play leaves no loose ends for you to sit on. Every question I had jotted down was given an answer by the final bows. It's a funny, emotional and raw piece of theatre only heightened by the actors and their storytelling abilities.
I won't spoil too much about the story, but if memory loss makes you sad, this will definitely tug at your heartstrings.
Make sure to check out "The Drawer Boy" at the HAT this week!
